Ken Fulton

Kenneth Earl Fulton, Jr., 62, of Connecticut, died accidentally on Monday, July 8, 2013 in Fairfield, Connecticut. Kenneth was born to Kenneth and Carryl Fulton in Germantown, Pennsylvania on October 30, 1950. He graduated in 1967 from New Canaan High School in Connecticut and earned a BA from Ohio Wesleyan University as well as a MBA in Accounting from New York University. He worked as a CPA in New York City in the 1980s, where he met and married his wife, Kathleen. They moved to Fairfield and had three children, Timothy, Dennis, and Carole. Ken was the Manager of Financial Reporting at The Ashforth Company in Stamford, Connecticut at the time of his passing. Ken is survived by his wife, his three children, three siblings, Cynthia, Peter, Amy and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Kenneth's parents preceded him in death. Ken was a family man, a voracious reader, and excelled at crossword puzzles, his favorite hobby. He especially enjoyed hiking, and completed the Appalachian Trail in Connecticut. He had hoped to begin the Massachusetts portion of the AT this fall. Ken loved all kinds of music, from classical to jazz to rock and roll, and loved attending the symphony with his wife as much as seeing The Alman Brothers with his brother.

Ken was a good friend of mine in high school. He always had a smile on his face. He was always of good cheer. We didn’t keep in touch after graduation but I kind of wish we did. His optimism would have been contagious.
