Scott passed away on October 16, 2017.

From a note to Fred Collins from one of Scott's daughters - "Thank you for your kind words. I am Scotts daughter and yes the past few years were hard. I am sad to say he passed away from the health related complications of addiction, chirochis, emphysema and depression were all factors. At this time no servics are planned, he has been cremated and we will spread them in the Chesapeake Bay as he wanted sometime in May 2018. I will be sure to keep you informed as the details come together."
