Top 10 Reasons to Attend

Here's another reason in addition to the "Top Ten".  This is from a recent email from David Kniffen that I received recently.  David gave me permission to share it with you.

It was my sister Connie, (who went to her NCHS 50th last year) who finally convinced me to go to this reunion.  "But Connie,", I'd say, time and again, resisting, "these guys won't even know who I am."  "Of course they will," she said.  And then she added "and besides, David, this is about much more than a high school reunion."
"What my sister was intimating, it's about remembering that there was, in fact, at one time, a home.  I'd not just be pausing briefly in the Fairfield County area en route to somewhere else, but, for the first time, intentionally, mindfully going back home.  (Perhaps I'm belaboring all this, but somehow I find the whole concept dizzying, almost incomprehensible.)
Along those lines, I was happy and intrigued (with even a bit of an emotional pull) to see Sarah Richmond's name on the bio-survey page, just above mine.  Sarah and I were in nursery school together.  I've known Sarah and the rest of the Richmonds for just about as long as I've been alive.

Thanks David (and Connie) for reminding us that we are, in many ways, coming home!!  Ann Stillman Wilson
